General Info

Stepping into Pi On Sunset feels like discovering a relaxed Mediterranean escape tucked into a neighborhood setting. The space is welcoming and easy to navigate, with a wheelchair accessible entrance and a layout that comfortably accommodates both small gatherings and larger groups. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual bite or planning catering for an event, the overall atmosphere strikes a balance between laid-back and thoughtfully curated.

The menu leans heavily into fresh, vibrant Mediterranean flavors, and it’s clear right away that healthy options are a priority here. One of the standout ways to explore the kitchen is through the Mediterranean Meza, which offers a variety of small plates that highlight the diversity of the cuisine. From there, it’s hard not to notice dishes like Batata Harra-crispy, spiced potatoes that bring just the right amount of heat-and the ever-refreshing Greek Salad, loaded with crisp vegetables and balanced flavors. The Tabbouleh also deserves attention, with its bright herbs and light texture making it an easy favorite for anyone looking for something fresh and clean.

As you move through the menu, there’s a consistent sense of care in how everything is presented and portioned. It’s the kind of place where reviews often mention how dishes feel both satisfying and not overly heavy, which makes it ideal for repeat visits. And then there’s the Baklava 2pc-sweet, flaky, and rich without being overwhelming, rounding out the experience in a way that feels indulgent but still aligned with the restaurant’s overall style.

Service here adds to the experience rather than distracting from it. The flow is smooth, and the presence of essential amenities like a clean restroom makes longer visits comfortable. It’s easy to imagine settling in with friends, sharing plates, and sampling a bit of everything without feeling rushed. The location in Granada Hills also makes it convenient for locals and visitors alike who are exploring nearby spots and looking for something reliable yet flavorful.

Altogether, Pi On Sunset offers a menu that feels approachable but thoughtfully composed, with dishes that reflect the heart of Mediterranean cooking. The combination of fresh ingredients, group-friendly service, and a welcoming setting makes it a place that fits naturally into both everyday dining and special occasions.

What customers say?

“ We ordered a spinach feta cheese flatbread pizza and a chicken kabob plate and both meals were delicious. Huge portions! We took lots of leftovers home and it basically made like 3 more meals. Definitely lots of bang for our bucks lol, would absolutely recommend this place to others. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I didn't like the seating. The indoor dining area was super stuffy while the outdoor patio dining area had some really wobbly old tables. Other than that, the service was quick and the food was a great experience! ”

“ We stopped by this spot for brunch since my husband and I were looking for a place to eat here in the Valley—and wow, what a gem! The meats were all tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. We even got to meet Joanna, who prepares the meats herself. We ordered the Olympia Combination Platter, which is generously portioned and can easily be shared by 2–3 people. My husband and I couldn’t even finish it because the serving sizes were that impressive. If you’re craving Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors, this place is a must-visit in the Valley. Highly recommended! ”

“ Well this restaurant is a pleasant surprise. Itching to try a new Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant, we found out that Pi on Sunset is actually rather close to us. The ambiance is spacious with floor to ceiling glass window and open floor plan, although the disco music was a bit interesting. Different. But on the food side, Pi delivers! My parents love the chicken kebab, while I like the beef kebab just a bit more. You can't go wrong with eithertl be honest since they are savory and flavorful without being dry. The basmati rice is subtly aromatic and complements the kebabs very well. The hummus is also well made with good texture, consistency, and taste. Only thing I find a little bit lacking is the garlic sauce. It's a bit tangy and I have had better. Luckily, you don't really need it for these plates. The kebab and rice play center stage just fine. Update: I'm back again for another meal and an update to my review. To start my meal, I had the Cheese Pi which are just tasty treats to have, with all the yummy cheesy goodness wrapped with toasted dough. I had the option to order the Olympia Mixed Grill but sized down for 1 person, and if you're like me and you love mixed kebabs, this is a great option. You get kefta (ground beef), Filet Mignon, and chicken kebabs with rice hummus, garlic sauce,a basket of pita bread, and salad for $25. It's quite generous for what you get! Ranking the kebabs, the Filet Mignon is the clear winner, followed by the kefta, and closely by the chicken. I highly recommend trying this combination so you can see which one you prefer! ”
